Bring Back ... the 90's saturday night TV

Watching both X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing recently, and reading all the controversy like Sharon storming off X Factor and Len getting high rate over the public votes in Strictly got me thinking....

Isn't it sad how Saturday Night TV has changed from what used to be quite good fun and comical to something that is taken so seriously.

When I was a kid in the 1990's I used to love the Saturday night line up that included the likes of "Big Break", "Generation Game", "Noel's House Party", "You Bet", "Blind Date" and "Gladiators" and I never remember anybody mouthing off about anything being unfair or being nasty about viewers for voting wrong. It was just about the entertainment and having a bit of fun.
